Here at Kingdom HQ, we have had an incredible year and so we thought it was about time to share with you an update of what we have been up to.

  • We have moved! In January 2024, we purchased our new warehouse and shortly

after, purchased the one next door to allow space to grow. This has increased our

storage capacity and given us flexibility for more machinery.

  • Sustainability is at the heart of what we do here, and we are very proud to now have

our own 120kw solar system. This powers all the FUSO machinery in the warehouse

and in the summer months, we send more back to the grid than we use.

  • Our founder and Managing Director, Luke, visited tea gardens in Rwanda. The trip

saw him visit several different tea gardens as well as experiencing a different culture,

it became a life-changing trip! More news and photos to come soon.

  • We have a new warehouse management system. Implementing this new system

allows us to be more efficient in our processes and operate in a more sustainable

way. It also streamlines the ordering process for our customers.

Why pack with us?

We have increased our production capacity with investment in additional FUSO machinery.

For our customers, this means our lead times are shorter as we can make biodegradable

material in house (with customers’ tag designs) we are able to pack your tea as soon as it

reaches our warehouse.

Our extensive range of the latest Japanese FUSO machinery means we are able to offer a

variety of different packing solutions, working with our customers to plan and fine tune every

detail. From pyramid or pillow teabags to enveloped teabags, through to a product ready to

hit the shelves in a natureflex pouch and branded cartons, we are able to produce quality

products on mass.

From large, established brands to new ideas, we are here to work with you every step of the

way with our expertise in sourcing, tasting, blending and packing.

We’re continually reminded about the coronavirus and it’s reckoning on people’s lives, but what we also see is the power of community and shared space of ever-growing hope to support our key-workers, businesses and customers in times of need.

In these unprecedented times, we are all pulling together as communities that respond, recover and are ready for life after COVID.

Our focus as a business has been ensuring our customers are fully supported throughout the COVID pandemic. Kingdom has remained fully operational and we continue to work around the clock to keep the humble tea bag available to all.

As a key part of the tea supply chain, Kingdom works with businesses of all sizes. So, whether it be keeping up with supermarket demand, or picking up the phone for a friendly chat with longstanding hospitality friends – we have been and will endeavour to offer support however we can.

  • We’ve so far donated over 50,000 tea bags to food banks, hospital trusts and key-workers across the region.

  • We will continue to help our Community champions get through this - just as we also continue to support tea-growing communities worldwide to ensure the tea supply chain remains a robust operation one cup of tea at a time.

From our business to yours, let’s beat this virus!
